Decide the required form
EPE can be used as sheets, pads, liners and converted protection. Confirm the required thickness, finished dimensions and assembly method before calculating quantity.

Test impact and fit
A prototype pack or trial piece is useful where transit impact, fit and surface protection matter. Layering and shaped inserts can change the level of cushioning.

Do not substitute it blindly for PU foam
EPE is generally selected for lightweight protection and separation. Flexible PU foam is more commonly used for comfort and seating, so the two materials are not direct substitutes in every application.
